Who We Are
In early 2026, Williams Solutions was founded to provide customers world-class Ignition expertise and premier integrator-caliber quality without all the overhead of a large organization. Already, we have risen to become a tier 3 Certified Integrator with Inductive Automation.
Since 2018, our founder, Stuart Williams, has been engineering industrial automation projects across North America, primarily using Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform. He is an Ignition Gold Certified engineer with international recognition and award, featured in Inductive Automation’s 2023 Discover Gallery Showcase and a recipient of their Discover Gallery Finalist and Firebrand Runner Up awards.

Key Projects
Oil & Gas Giant’s Nationwide SCADA System
Enhanced and maintained multi-project SCADA application handling hundreds of millions of tags. Go-to resource for region’s second largest facility type, water. Pioneered several features from the ground up that were then deployed across the country, some saving multiple millions of dollars annually per deployed region.
Chemicals’ Industry 4.0 OEE and Downtime
Reverse-engineered an existing OEE and Downtime application in order to optimize query and calculation times from 10’s of minutes to a few seconds. Trained international team of customer’s in-house controls engineers in the new system and the Ignition platform itself to the point of customer self-sufficiency. Project was simple, yet elegant enough, that trained engineers were able to deploy it at additional facilities without my involvement.
Big Tech’s Datacenter Building Management System (BMS)
Worked in conjunction with multiple other integrators to provide web-based BMS system covering multiple buildings on approx. 1.5 million square foot campus. Acted as the point of reference for all Ignition-related tasks, functionality, and architecture. Trained team of engineers on the Ignition platform, most of whom later passed their core certification exams.
Pharmaceutical Plant Monitoring System
Designed and developed a SCADA system for the entire manufacturing operation overlayed onto site P&ID’s to allow for easy navigation and drilldown for customer engineers and operators. Built custom alarm callout logic that is not provided out-of-the-box to reduce alarm desensitization.
Wet Wipes’ Plant OEE and Order Scheduling
Provided customer with insight into overall facility efficiency and streamlined their scheduling process. Integrated Excel-based scheduling spreadsheet into the Ignition scheduling system, to allow for a single-source-of-truth with scheduling. Deployed on-the-floor, templatized dashboards giving awareness to key line metrics at a glance.
